Read the book Three Cups of Tea and make activities through it, showed us how people around the world help communities in unfavorable situations. Moreover this persons become an inspiration for other people that want to help other or have big dreams. Also showed us when you have  a dream or goal it will be possible if you work and believe in it. If you go more through it, you can think how fortunate and blessed we are. In the context of we have the opportunity to access an education, clean water, food, security and different resources that give us a good  lifestyle. In the other hand I had the opportunity to read my first book in English. It helped me to get more vocabulary and reading comprehension. Furthermore, I am not the style of people that read a lot of books but this book was in a topic that I feel interesting in it. Even though, I am going to be curious about what part of the book it true or not!

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving Day. It  is an opportunity to make a stop on the  way and think all the blessings that you have at the moment. It is a  day in witch you can  say  thanks to the life for  give  you the opportunity to be live, thanks to you self for achieve your goals and purposes and thanks to your family or friends for be part of your life and  support you in different ways. Also in this holiday you  have  a great time to share, make and  eat a delicious meals. I like to eat good food, so this day is a perfect excuse to buy traditionally food  with a high quality  and have a lot of variety. I love roasted turkey or stuffing, autumn vegetables  and my favorite part Canada desserts, the sweet taste is a perfect way to close this  day. Finally I love to give a handmade present for the people that I love in order to say thank.

I fine some interesting and unusual traditions in marriage and engagement  around the world. For they is normal but in my culture it will be strange. In Tujia, China, tears of love before the wedding  will bring good luck for the future spouses. The bride should cry for at least one hour a day, a month before the bond. How they do?, interresting. If  you  are confuise about  when you  want to get marri, you can use the costume of Daur, China. The day of the  weedding depends on the health of an animal. There is a tradition that couples who are engaged have to dissect a chicken and see the state of their liver. If this is healthy, the couple can set a date for the link and if not, they will have to find another healthy liver. In the other hand if  you are worry about the future condition as a couple, in Gales the groom ensure to his bride that she never going to be hungry. The groom give to his future wife a carved wooden spoon as  a simbol of this. If you want something different you can choose one of these options for your wedding. 

One  of my favourite film is Embrace of the Serpent. It is a Colombian film with a Colombian Director and takes place in the Amazon of Colombia. It is an art film in black and white. The Embrace of the Serpent is a unique and special film in the sense that the film is true history although it looks unreal. It is an anthropological and  history film around Amazonian native communities. The Amazonian mythology involve a gigantic anaconda snake depicting an extraterrestrial life that came to  earth to give native the knowledge and rules of  how to live on the earth, when to: hunt,  harvest, fish, and how to respect nature, the environment and how not take advantage of it. In order to report and show this history the director had to enhance the harsh natural environment of the wild according to the  fauna and flora. The sacred plants:tabaco, coca, yage (equivalent of ayahuasca) and native plants and the extension of the river though the wild. The fauna like jaguar, bird, snake, monkey. All this photography give the audience a incredible landscape in the film. Also it show how the rubber industry impacted ingenious culture of the Amazone. it is a interesting and different film that you have try.

Colombia is a harsh country for ecotourism. But one of the most amazing place that you can go and explore in Colombia is Cabo de la Vela. It is located on the Northen tip of south America in the peninsula of La Guajira. To go there you have to travel for around 2 hours through the vast desert terrain in which, the beauty of this place begin. Because during the trip you can see mirages on the hot desert floor when the sun is all out. You can believe that there are a big bodies of water, like in the movies, and it seems totally incredible. Also the orange and yellow colours of the land combined with the green of the cacti and shrubs; the landscape in this moment is unbelievable. When you go deeper into the desert you can notice that it is not a typical journey; it is exotic tourism. From the moment you start seeing a kind of rainbow in different shades of blue in the Caribbean Sea, the yellow and orange coast, the artisanal fishing boats on the ocean, the artisanal houses made of bahareque and yotojoro (the heart of the cactus) near the beach, creating a perfect picture of this remote place in Colombia. Not many people live there; the harsh environment makes it a difficult place to live. The vast desert terrain inhabited mostly by indigenous Wayuu people. The incredibles landscapes never end. You can go to the Cabo de la Vela Lighthouse to watch the sunset, the highest permit  you to have  a perfect view. The purple, pig, yellow, red and orange make a beautiful party of colours on the surface of the ocean reflecting the sky. After that you can sleep in a hammock on the beach lulled by the Caribbean breeze and under a canopy with millions of start. Also you can see astonishing shooting stars. For all these  reason Cabo de la Vela is a unique experience for  the people who really love nature. This place is a paradise.

The terth language that I want to learn after English is French. First it is attractive to me as the language of love; it is a romance and melodious language that sound beautiful. Second, because I want to stay  in Canada and learn it will give me the opportunity to communicate in any part of Canada and different part of the  world. Also the ability to speak French and English is an advantage on the international job market in my future; French will be my value added in my resume. Finally, other important reason is that as a girl that love travel, French will help me in my travel to the continent of Africa in order to get more knowledge in their culture: interaction with nature and animals, beliefs and rituals, cooking, fashion, arts, dance and architecture. As well in my future travel to France, Switzerland, Belgium, and others. So, why not French?!

Win $10 million in the lottery!. It is the dream of most of the people. If my lucky help me to win the lottery and have $10 million; I have totally clear what I want. First, I will buy 4 beautiful houses, two in the mountain and two in downtown; I will use two of these houses for live and two for rent. I will need more money in the future. Second, I will travel around the world,it is a plan that I really want to do, for sure. Finally, I would invest my money in education; I will pay for many knowledge in Environmental Science and Bioremediation; I will finance a research laboratory in this theme. Some times  we don't understand  the importance of the preservation of the nature environments!. Oh! and obviously the rest of the money I will use to sustain my parents with a good lifestyle in their old age. This is what I will do if I win the lottery. Ok, it is beautiful to dream a easy way to make  your dream come true!

If you didn't feel yourself safe in the city of Calgary, Canada, it's because you never stop and take your time to thinking and compare with other cities. Calgary  is really really  safe and the secutity that exist in makes this  city  more atractive for anybody. I think that The Calgary Police Service  does a effective work to mantein  and give a theirs citizens a safe community. However, due to the economical  situation of  Calgary in this  moment, it was checking a increse in the  criminal statistical. However, in Calgary, is one of  the  few cities in where you can: leave your  house without locking  the  door, forget your belongings somewhere and return for them, speck on your cellphone quiet in the  street without fear of robbery, parking  you  car in the street and this totally safe, take money out to  the  bank everywhere, and so on. For  all  this reson I relly love the security in  Calgary and want to  stay here.
